Recipe Ingredients for Homemade "Refried" Beans

3 cup Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
0.033 oz Ground Cumin
3 clove Garlic
7 oz Green Chilies
1 tsp Baking Soda
0.5 oz Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Homemade "Refried" Beans

Sort and rinse beans. Soak in water twice the volume of the beans. Soak for 6-8 hours. Drain and rinse. Place in slow cooker and cover with water until 1 1/2 inches above the beans. Add baking soda, onion, garlic, cumin and salt. Cook 3-7 hours simmering. Smash beans if desired.
