This ranch tastes great but has much less fat than store-bought ranch. Add 1/4 tsp xanthan gum to thicken it up if desired.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Ranch Dressing

2 cups low-fat buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons low-fat sour cream
1 1/4 tsp dried parsley
3/4 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme

Recipe Directions for Homemade Ranch Dressing

Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until combined. If adding 1/4 tsp xanthan gum to thicken, this must be refrigerate for several hours in order for the xanthan gum to thicken up the dressing.
