Recipe Ingredients for homemade ragu

250 g ground beef
150 g ground pork
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 onion
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups beef broth
1 small carrot

Recipe Directions for homemade ragu

  1. sautee onions and thinly diced carrots in olive oil

  2. onces onions are soft and transparent add beef and pork

  3. once meat is browned add some tomatoe sauce and broth. bring to boil then lower heat and cover and cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours occasionaly stirring and adding additional broth and tomatoe sauce as needed.
