This homemade soup, uses consomme and a vegetable soup mix as a base, and you can add in your favourite veggies and some quinoa

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Quinoa Vegetable Soup

1 can (12 oz) yields Corn, Sweet, Yellow
8 oz Sweet Peas
1 cup, diced Celery
1 serving Vegetable Kosher Soup Mix
2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.5 cup Quinoa
1 cup Beef Consomm
8 oz Carrots, Baby
1 cup, chopped Broccoli

Recipe Directions for Homemade Quinoa Vegetable Soup

  1. Chop up all the veggies and add them to a large pot.

  2. Pre-boil carrots so they will be tender

  3. Add in the consomme and veggie soup mix.

  4. Add in more water to make it as 'soupy' as you like.

  5. Season with salt, pepper balls (10), curry, a bit of soy sauce, oregano. All to taste.

  6. Heat to boil for about 10 minutes.

  7. Add in the quinoa, and boil until quinoa is ready, and veggies are tender.

  8. Freeze in portions for later use.
