6 potatoes, pared and cut in 1-inch chunks
2 onions, chopped
1 carrot, scraped and sliced
3 cups chicken broth
1 pepper
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk
1/8 cup chopped chives

Recipe Directions for Homemade Potato Soup Recipe

  1. Put all ingredients except milk and chives in slow cooker. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 3-4. Stir in milk in last hour.

  2. Serve topped with chives.
