This recipe makes 3 thin crust pizzas with tomatoes, green peppers, onions and mozzarella Preparation time in 1 1/2 hours Baking time is 15 minutes per pizza 1 serving is two slices of pizza

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade pizza with vegetables

1 1/2 tbsp dry active yeast
2 tsp white sugar
2 cups warm water
4 1/2 cups white flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
9 tbsp tomato puree
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp dried oregano
3 medium tomato, sliced
3 green pepper, sliced
3 small onion, sliced
1 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Homemade pizza with vegetables

  1. Set aside mixture of yeast, sugar and 1 cup of water

  2. Mix flour and salt in large bowl

  3. Add yeast, water and oil to flour mixture

  4. Knead dough for 10 minutes

  5. Let dough rise in warm area for 1 hour

  6. Mix tomato puree, garlic and oregano

  7. Slice vegetables and grate cheese

  8. Preheat oven and pizza stone for 1/2 hour

  9. Knead dough and divide into 3 balls

  10. Roll our one dough ball

  11. Evenly spread 3 tbsp puree mixture

  12. Evenly spread sliced vegetables

  13. Evenly spread 1/2 cup mozzarella

  14. Place pizza on hot stone and bake at 450F for 15 minutes or until bottom of crust is golden
