I had a hankering for pizza today, and threw this together.

Recipe Ingredients for homemade pizza

10 oz Pillsbury pizza crust
3/4 cups Sargento reduced fat mozzarella shredded cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup broccoli, chopped
2 artichoke hearts, chopped
1/4 cup chicken breast, sauteed and chopped
1/8 cup red onion, chopped
1/8 cup green peppers, chopped

Recipe Directions for homemade pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Spray a 9x13 or 10x14 pan with nonstick spray and spread out the crust.

  3. Crush the garlic into the butter and melt.

  4. Using a pastry brush, brush the crust with the butter mix (you will have leftovers).

  5. Spread the pizza sauce on the crust.

  6. Spread the cheese on the crust (I actually used a full bag of fat-free mozzarella shreds, but CC couldn't find it. This is 1 3/4 cups instead for the same calorie count.).

  7. Top with the mix of veggies and other toppings.

  8. Sprinkle the top with more garlic butter using your pastry brush.

  9. Top with crushed red pepper flake if you desire (I did half only).

  10. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

  11. Makes 6+ slices.
