Recipe Ingredients for Homemade pesto

7 garlic cloves
3/4 cups pine nuts
1/8 cup light olive oil
3/4 cup chopped basil

Recipe Directions for Homemade pesto

  1. Roast garlic cloves with a bit of olive oil at 350 for about 1 hour till they are nice and golden and the cloves start to open

  2. Remove garlic from outer layor and mash with a fork. Add pine nit and remaining oil. Chop basil finely and add to mixture.
