Homemade Pear and Mixed Berry Jam. Good with store bought produce, but so much more delectable when produce is organically home grown. Delicious on french toast as alternative to butter and syrup.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Pear and Mixed Berry Jam

2 pears, skinned and diced
1/2 c blackberries
1/4 c boysenberries
1/4 c strawberries
1 tbsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Homemade Pear and Mixed Berry Jam

  1. Heat pears in skillet over medium-low heat until easily mashed.

  2. Add mixed berries, simmer until broken down, about 15 minutes.

  3. Reduce heat to low (2), add sugar and stir until incorporated.

  4. Simmer on low for additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until ready.
