Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Peanut Butter

1 oz Peanuts, All Types
0.1 oz Canola Oil

Recipe Directions for Homemade Peanut Butter

  1. Roast about 4 cups of raw, shelled peanuts in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes tossing frequently to prevent charring. Let nuts cool and pour into food processor. Grind nuts to a fine "powder" consistency, or if you prefer checnky peanut butter, don't grind all the way. Add 1/3 cup oil, may use peanut, safflower or canola oil, whichever you prefer. Blend further until the peanut butter has a creamy consistency.

  2. Natural Peanut Butter will be more grainy than processed brands, but the flavor is much richer and bolder. A little bit goes a long way!

  3. This recipe yeilds about 19 oz.
