Peanut butter granola bars with raisins, chocolate chips, almonds and sunflower seeds.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Peanut Butter Granola Bars

1 1/4 cups chunky peanut butter
1/2 cups unsalted butter
1 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 1/4 cups rolled oats
1/8 cups sunflower seeds
1/8 cups almonds
1/4 cup raisins
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Homemade Peanut Butter Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Grease a square pan or 13x9 pan to and line with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  3. Melt all the peanut butter, butter, brown sugar and honey in a saucepan on low heat.

  4. Stir occasionally until all ingredients are melted.

  5. In the meantime mix the other ingredients together in a large bowl.

  6. Mix the liquid ingredients into the dry thoroughly.

  7. Press into the pan, make sure the top is completely flat.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden in the center and golden brown around the edges.

  9. Let cool for at least 30 minutes, as it makes it easier to slice. They will stay fresh for 7-10 days if kept in an airtight tin or plastic bag.
