Deliciously thick , flavoursome sauce, good on rice as well or anything else that takes your fancy. Make a double quantity & keep handy in the refrigerator.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Pasta Sauce.

1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 onion, raw
1 clove garlic
2 cups tomato juice

Recipe Directions for Homemade Pasta Sauce.

  1. Finely chop onion & garlic & cook in a little water

  2. till soft

  3. Add herbs & seasonings, cook a further 3 mins.

  4. Finally add tomato juice & simmer over low heat

  5. 10 minutes.
