Homemade pancakes delicious and easy. Add more milk to thin the batter to make crepes.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Pancakes

1 large egg
1 cup flour
1 cup skim milk
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter, melted
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Homemade Pancakes

  1. In a medium bowl, beat egg with hand beater until fluffy

  2. Beat in remaining ingredients until lumps disappear

  3. Batter should be fairly thick and a bit bubbly

  4. For thinner pancakes, add up to 1/4 cup skim milk

  5. Spray griddle with non-stick coating or oil, heat over medium heat

  6. For each pancake, use slightly less than 1/4 cup (50ml) batter

  7. Cook pancakes until puffed and bubble on top

  8. Flip and cook other side until golden brown

  9. Keep warm until serving
