Can't believe this hasn't been on here before!! Very simple to make if oil is added slowly to avoid splitting. You can then add any flovour you like to fit your meal - chilli with burgers, fennel and dill with fish etc etc... enjoy!!

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Mayonnaise

2 egg yolks
200 ml Olive oil
1 tsp English mustard
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
2 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Homemade Mayonnaise

  1. Separate egg whites from yolks keeping the yolks in a bowl.

  2. Add the Mustard and lemon juice

  3. Slowly start to add the oil a little at a time whilst beating with a whisk

  4. Continue to add the oil in a slow steady stream whilst constantly beating until the mixture is of your prefered consistancy for mayo.

  5. Finish with salt and pepper to taste.
