Delicious homemade maple syrup~ with a hint of vanilla. Perfect on pancakes, waffles, crepes or even biscuits!

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Maple Syrup

4 cups brown sugar
2 cups water
1 tsp maple extract
1/2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Homemade Maple Syrup

Measure 4 cups packed brown sugar (or substitute white sugar) and 2 cups water. In a pot, bring it to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a minute or two. Add 1 tsp maple flavoring and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Store in refrigerator. If you like it hot- microwave for 30 seconds or so.
