Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Maple Cinnamon Almond Butter

2 1/2 cups almonds
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Homemade Maple Cinnamon Almond Butter

  1. Combine all ingredients except salt in a bowl and roast almonds in a 350* oven for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Let cool for a few minutes and place in a food processor.

  3. Grind until smooth (about 10 minutes), scraping sides as needed.

  4. The AB should start to clump up or even form a ball. When this happens add in 1 tsp salt and continue to grind.

  5. You may also need to drizzle in some oil while it is grinding (no more than a tsp or two) to get it to smooth out.
