Betty Crocker recipe - made from scratch

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 3/4 c. skim milk
8 oz. cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni

Recipe Directions for Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

  1. melt butter

  2. add flour, salt and pepper

  3. when bubbly, pour in the milk

  4. bring to a boil on med. heat

  5. boil and stir for 1 minute

  6. Cook macaroni 6 minutes and drain

  7. Mix macaroni and cheese sauce together
