Delicious meat lasagna in a healthier way.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Lasagna

2 cups light cottage cheese
2 cups light mozzarella cheese
1 lb lean ground beef
188 g whole wheat lasagna noodles
1 egg white
2 cups pasta sauce

Recipe Directions for Homemade Lasagna

  1. Brown ground beef, drain off fat.

  2. Add pasta sauce to beef along with any desired spices.

  3. Combine egg white and cottage cheese

  4. Boil pasta according to package directions

  5. Layer pasta, then sauce mixture, then cottage cheese mixture. Should make 3 layers.

  6. Add shredded mozz cheese to top of final layer.

  7. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees or until top cheese is bubbling.
