i wanted to try to make it for my yogurt in the morning. it was a trial recipe i made up on the spot so feel free to alter it how you see fit. otherwise enjoy :) it makes 8 servings. each serving should be about 1/3 cup. i mix it with plain yogurt and a banana. yumm

Recipe Ingredients for homemade honey oat granola

1 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup walnuts
1 tsp skim milk
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp light brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for homemade honey oat granola

  1. preheat oven to 325

  2. put almonds and walnuts in a bag and hit with hammer to crush them into small pieces

  3. put everything into a bowl and mix until evenly coated

  4. cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray (sparingly with nonstick spray)

  5. spread out mixture onto baking sheet

  6. cook for 5 min or until browned on the edges

  7. let cool and put in container
