5 seed, cranberry and sultana granola

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Healthy Granola

75 grams oat bran
1 tbsp olive oil
50 ml maple syrup
80 ml apple juice
175 grams oats
50 grams dried cranberries
50 grams sultanas
50 grams pumpkin seeds
25 grams sunflower seeds
15 grams sesame seeds
10 grams linseeds
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Homemade Healthy Granola

  1. combine dry ingredients except for dried fruit

  2. warms wet ingredients gently in a pan

  3. add to dry, mix well and squeeze between hands to encourage clusters to form

  4. spread onto one or two baking sheets lined with baking paper.

  5. bake at 160c/140fan/gas 3 for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 mintues to break up

  6. add dried fruit to trays, mix well

  7. bake for a further 15 minutes then cool

  8. store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks
