Using 1% milk, a small cup of plain Greek yogurt and freeze dried starter

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Greek Yogurt

38 oz 1% milk
6 oz plain yogurt

Recipe Directions for Homemade Greek Yogurt

  1. Heat milk to 180 degrees, stirring constantly.

  2. Keep at 180 degrees for 2 minutes.

  3. Cool to room temp (in cool water bath).

  4. Add starter and plain yogurt, using a whip, mix well.

  5. Pour into 7 jars and put into yogurt maker.

  6. Incubate for 11 hours.

  7. Strain before eating.
