Crunchy granola. Great for eating with yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola

1 1/2 c Oats, Rolled, Regular Old Fashioned
1/2 cup Pecans
1/3 c Sunflower Kernels
28 g pretzel sticks
1/2 c sliced almonds
2/3 c shredded coconut
1/2 c honey
1 1/2 T SPLENDA Brown Sugar Blend
2 T butter
1 1/2 t vanilla extract
1/4 t salt
1 c Crisp Rice Cereal

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola

  1. Combine oats, nuts (chopped) and coconut. Spread on a foil-lined baking sheet. Place in 350 degree pre-heated oven. Toast for 7-8 minutes, stir and put back in oven for 6-8 minutes or until coconut is lightly browned.

  2. Combine honey, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt in a bowl and microwave for 45 seconds or until brown sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. Reduce oven to 300 degrees.

  4. Combine oat mixture, honey mixture and rice cereal, making sure dry ingredients are coated well.

  5. Turn into baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. Press firmly to even out. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool completely. Break into pieces. Store in baggie or airtight container.
