Best granola on earth! Variations are limitless. Add your favorite dried fruit and nuts to taste. Just keep in mind dried fruit carries lots of calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade granola

4 c oats (old fashioned)
1/2 c flaxseed meal
1/2 c chopped walnuts
1/2 c coconut flakes, sweetened
1/4 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c wheat germ
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c honey
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Homemade granola

  1. Heat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Mix dry ingerdients in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Warm oil, honey, salt, vanilla in microwave. Pour over dry mix. Toss until coated evenly. Place on a baking sheet or roasting pan,

  4. Bake for 20-30 mins, stirring frequently until golden. Cool and store in an air tight container.
