Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola

1/3 cup Honey
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup sesame seeds
3/4 cups pecans, chopped
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Line lasagne pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mix first 7 ingredients in large measuring cup.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients expect for the dried fruit. Mix until well coated. Spread evenly in lasagne pan. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or until granola is golden brown. Baking time will vary based on depth of granola in the pan.

  4. After baking, add dried fruit.

  5. Allow to cool, store in jars. Makes 24 1/4-cup servings
