Makes 24 servings



this makes about 6 cups (1/4 cup servings). You can also use any kind of nuts you choose or you can add fruit. I eat it with fruit and vanilla yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for homemade granola

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup honey

Recipe Directions for homemade granola

  1. preheat oven 300 degrees

  2. combine oats, coconut, chopped nuts and salt in a large bowl.

  3. in a small bowl, combine vanilla extract, olive oil and honey.

  4. pour liquid mix over oat mixture and mix well.

  5. spread evenly on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes.

  6. Stir and bake in 5 minute intervals until golden brown.

  7. Remove from oven and completely cool and store in air tight container.

  8. Makes about 6 cups. (1/4 cup servings)
