This is not really sweet enough. Maybe add some brown sugar or more honey next time. Change calorie content then w/new ingredients.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola

4 cups quaker oats
1/2 cup wheat bran
1/2 cup apple sauce, unsweetened
200 ml apple juice
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup almonds, sliced
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp vanilla
1 gala apple, shredded

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola

  1. Mix together oats, bran, almonds, sunflower seeds and shredded apple

  2. In sauce pan heat to boil apple juice, honey, cinnamon, vanilla and apple sauce.

  3. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.

  4. Put on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam.

  5. Cook at 300 degrees, stirring every 10 min or so until done (about 40-50 min).
