Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola

6 cups old fashioned oats
3 cups almonds
1 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup water
1 cup flax seed, ground
3/4 cup splenda brown sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar free syrup

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola

  1. mix oats, almonds & wheat germ in large bowl & set aside.

  2. mix flax seed, sugar, vanilla & syrup & microwave for 2 minutes, or until sugar is melted.

  3. pour sugar mixture over oats & mix; add sugar mixture in increments, mixing in between.

  4. pour onto 2 greased cookie sheets

  5. bake at 350 for 10 minutes, stir & bake additional 10 minutes.

  6. cool on cookie sheet, store in baggies or air tight container.
