Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup dry milk
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 egg
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup raw peanuts
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup pecans
2 tbsp brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars

Mix together dry ingredients. Mix egg, oil, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla. Thoroughly mix wet ingredients into dry. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Spray lightly with oil spray. Pat mixture into a rectangle 1/4 to 3/8" thick (about 8" X 11"). Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Edges will begin to brown. Cool. Cut into bars.
