Use a prism friendly cereal with no sugar or with sugar as the 5th ingredient or higher. Cheerios, puffed brown rice, or Kashi 7 grain puffs are good choices.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars

1/2 cup honey
2/3 c. natural peanut butter
3 c. dry cereal
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. coconut

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl.

  2. Spray bottom of glass baking pan. Heat honey in saucepan just to a boil and stir in peanut butter. Immediately remove from heat and fold in with dry mixture. Press into pan. Cut into 12 'granola' bars. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
