2/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups oats
2 pounds dates
1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for homemade granola bars

  1. mix sugar and butter

  2. add flour salt and soda

  3. stir in oats

  4. combine dates and water and cook 5 to 10 minutes

  5. bake at 400 for 30 minutes
