Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars

4 cups rolled oats
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup wheat germ
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
5 oz raisins
3 oz shredded unsweetened coconut
10 oz chocolate chips
1 oz dried cranberries
5 1/2 oz sunflower seeds
2 tbsp vanilla
10 tbsp butter
1/6 cup honey
1/2 cup maple syrup
4 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp water
2/3 cup peanut butter

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Grease and parchment paper line one 9 x 13 inch pan

  3. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl

  4. Melt butter, honey, maple syrup, molasses, water, and peanut butter in a pan

  5. Stir together dry and wet ingredients

  6. Press firmly into pan

  7. Bake 30-40 minutes until edges are browned
