Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars

1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup brown rice syrup
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon canola oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup ground flax seed
1 cup sliced almonds

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars

Combine all wet ingredients (1st 5) add all dry ingredients (the rest). Line 8x11 pan with parchment and press firmly into pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
