Tasty homemade granola bars for a convenient snack

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars

2 1/2 cups corn flakes
1/4 cup almonds
2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup craisins
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars

  1. Stir together almonds, cornflakes, oats, and craisins.

  2. in saucepan, combine brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil.

  3. Stir peanut butter and vanilla into sugar mixture.

  4. Pour sugar mixture over oats, mix.

  5. Press into greased 13*9 pan

  6. Cut into rectangles
