Yummy. We use these more for a treat for the kids and ourselves than for a snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars (Peanut Butter-Chocolate)

300 g (g g) Crispy Rice Cereal
3 cups Oatmeal
3/4 cup corn syrup
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 t. salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars (Peanut Butter-Chocolate)

In a saucepan, combine the corn syrup, sugar and salt. Heat on Medium-high and stir until it begins to boil. Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter. Immediately pour over the cereal and oatmeal in a large bowl. Add chocolate chips (or dried fruit if you prefer) and mix to coat and combine. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan and pat down evenly. Allow to completely cool and set before cutting into 30 pieces.
