Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bars- Original

1 1/2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup steel cut oats
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup Cereal
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1/6 cup chopped walnuts
1/6 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup Pepitas
1/4 cup maple sugar
2 tbs brown sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup canola oil

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bars- Original

  1. Soak Quinoa and Steel cut oats in water for 20 mins then drain. Add all grains, cereals, nuts, and seeds together.

  2. For 2 minutes on medium heat up the sugars, PB, vanilla, and oil until melted. Pour sugar mixture into dry mixture and stir/mix well.

  3. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray and pour mixture into pan. Spread evenly and press firmly with spatula.

  4. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours then cut into 14 pieces for a 200 calorie meal or snack bar when you are on the run!
