Granola Bar with powdered sugar/cinnamon topping

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Granola Bar with Topping

2 cups oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp milk
1/2 cup jam
1/2 cup nonfat yogurt

Recipe Directions for Homemade Granola Bar with Topping

  1. Mix oats, flour, baking soda, brown sugar, and 1 tsp of cinnamon in a bowl.

  2. Melt margarine and add to dry ingredients. Mix well.

  3. Press half of mixture into bottom of an 8x8 pan.

  4. Mix jam and yogurt and spread over mixture in pan.

  5. Spread rest of oat mixture over jam and yogurt.

  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

  7. Mix powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and milk. Drizzle over mixture, let cool for a few minutes, and cut into bars.
