Momma used to make this when I was a kid. I've hyped it up a bit with the seasonings I use. And I don't use the sour cream. It's really more like spaghetti except with macaroni. It does make a lot but it freezes and thaws well.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Goulash

1 pound elbow macaroni (I use whole wheat)
16 ounce of stewed tomatoes (I use the italian style)
16 ounce tomato sauce
16 ounce green beans
1 pound ground turkey

Recipe Directions for Homemade Goulash

  1. Brown ground turkey with olive oil cooking spray

  2. Boil macaroni until tender

  3. Drain macaroni

  4. Drain juice from green beans

  5. Mix all ingredients together and season more to taste
