Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Garlic & Onion Pasta Sauce

1 1/2 tbsps olive oil
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, diced
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tbsp dried parsley
3 tbsps Parmesan cheese, Grated
2 tsps black peppers

Recipe Directions for Homemade Garlic & Onion Pasta Sauce

  1. Dice 4 cloves of garlic and 1 large onion

  2. Put 1.5 tbsps olive oil into a pan and heat it on medium heat for 20 seconds

  3. Add all the garlic into the pan and saute it until it turns into a brownish color

  4. Then, add all the onion into the pan and saute it on low medium heat until it begins to give off a sweet-ish odor and its color turns to light brown

  5. Add all the tomato sauce (diced tomato can be used instead) and stir all the ingredients until the texture of the sauce becomes consistent

  6. Continue to cook the sauce on low medium heat for another 5 minutes and then add grated Parmesan cheese and all the remaining ingredients (dried parsley and black pepper). Stir all the ingredients to make the texture consistent

  7. Continue to cook the sauce for another 15 minutes on low heat
