Recipe Ingredients for Homemade French Toast

6 slices texas toast
2/3 cup fat free half and half
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons margarine

Recipe Directions for Homemade French Toast

  1. Whisk together in a shallow bowl:

  2. 2/3 cup fat free half and half

  3. 4 large eggs

  4. 2 tablespoons sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. Add bread, one or two at a time.

  8. Turn bread until both sides are cooked to a light brown.

  9. Serve immediately with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
