Recipe Ingredients for Homemade chili

14 oz red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
16 oz tomato sauce
14 oz beans, rinsed and drained
19 oz diced tomatoes
1 lb lean ground beef, drained
1 medium onion
2 tsp garlic, minced
2 tsp chili flakes
2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Homemade chili

  1. Brown beef with onion and garlic. Drain off fat.

  2. Add both cans of beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and spices.

  3. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve!
