Very good chili for cooler weather. If you like spicier chili, simmer with a habanero pepper. Remove pepper before serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chili

2 lbs ground beef, 85% fat free
70 oz kidney beans
5 medium tomatoes
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cups beef stock
3 tbsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chili

  1. brown ground beef

  2. chop tomatoes and onion

  3. mince garlic

  4. mix all ingredients in large pot

  5. simmer for 4-6 hours
