Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Tenders

16 oz Chicken
2 large Egg, Whole
0.2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
0.5 cup Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Plain
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese
0.5 cup 2% Milk
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chicken Tenders

  1. Slice chicken breasts into strips, pound lightly.

  2. season chicken with salt and pepper

  3. in small bowl make egg wash, by combining beaten eggs and milk

  4. mix flour and breadcrumbs with parm cheese in second bowl

  5. dredge prepared chicken in egg wash

  6. immediately dredge in flour breadcrumb parm mix.

  7. in small batches cook in oil turning once after a few minutes to evenly cook.

  8. place on paper towel to absorb extra grease.

  9. Serve hot
