A healthy twist on traditional chicken strips.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Strips

12 ounces chicken breast (3 breasts)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chicken Strips

  1. Slice the chicken into 4 strips each.

  2. Mix the egg and the broccoli puree together (puree is just steamed broccoli put through a food processor or blender).

  3. Mix together the crumbs, parmesan cheese and spices.

  4. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then roll the pieces in the crumb mixture.

  5. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 for approximately 25 minutes (cut into a larger one to ensure they're cooked through).

  6. Serve alone or with your favorite dips.
