Homemade noodles, chicken and vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chicken and Noodles

3 cups flour
2 eggs
5 cups water
32 oz chicken broth
16 oz frozen mixed vegetables
1 lb chicken

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chicken and Noodles

  1. Bring to boil approx 4 1/2 cups water and chicken broth, add small amount of flour to thicken. add vegetables and cut up chicken, let simmer.

  2. mix 2 1/2 cups flour, eggs and 1/2 cup water to create dough, should be a fairly stiff ball of dough, add salt and pepper to taste. Knead dough with extra flour so not sticky. Roll out dough and cut into thin strips of noodles.

  3. Add noodles to pot, allow to simmer until noodles are cooked and soup is reasonable thick. Add salt and pepper to taste.
