A delicious and easy chicken noodle soup. Extremely spiced and robust--good for people with colds.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

0.13 cup Peas, Green
1/2 cup, chopped Broccoli
1 serving Made from Chicken Meat with Natural Juices Chicken Base
1 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
0.5 cup, chopped Kale
0.25 cup Onions
0.13 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Yellow
0.5 stalks Celery
1 carrot Carrots
2 cloves, raw Garlic
0.5 oz dry Whole Wheat Spirals

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Sautee 1 whole onion, sliced thinly, in pan over medium-high with olive oil until slightly translucent. Add 8-10 cloves chopped garlic and a ton of spices to taste (I use a lot of black pepper, a lot of rosemary, and some oregano and thyme). Let those sautee too until quite fragrant.

  2. Add about 6-8 cups water, about 3 tbsp better than bouillon (chicken), and a container of emerald valley mild organic salsa. I promise, this makes the soup. Add potates and carrots and bring to a boil, then turn back down to medium, adding the broccoli and celery.

  3. While this cooks, boil water to make the spiral pasta, cook, drain, and set aside.

  4. When the soup has been simmering for a while, try some celery and see if it's done. If so, add frozen peas (as many as you like), kale, the yellow pepper (chopped), and your finished pasta. Bring back up to a simmer and take off the heat.

  5. Enjoy! It's done! Should be delish--now invite me over for dinner! :)
