Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Chicken Curry

16 ounces chicken breasts
4 medium tomatoes
2/3 c lentils
2 onions
4 cloves garlic
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs lemon juice
1 tsp salt
2 tbs curry powder
1/2 tbs red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Homemade Chicken Curry

In a small sauce pan boil 2 cups water with lentils and red pepper flakes. Saute onions and garlic in large skillet over medium heat until translucent. Add curry powder and cook additional 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add quartered tomatoes and cubed chicken breasts until slightly cooked. Add lentil mixture. Cook curry mixture until boiling, reduce heat. Add salt and lemon juice. Cook for additional 20-30 minutes. Serve over brown rice.
