Aunt Connie's home made crust with specially seasoned sauce. Add toppings according to taste.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Cheese Pizza

1 teaspoon Sugars, Granulated
1 teaspoon Salt, Table
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
1 cup Water
2 1/2 cups Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
8 oz tomato sauce
8 oz mozzarella cheese
4 oz mild cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons basil
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon rosemary

Recipe Directions for Homemade Cheese Pizza

  1. Activate yeast by mixing with water.

  2. Mix dough ingredients (sugar, salt, olive oil, flour).

  3. Let rise for an hour

  4. roll dough into desired pizza shape.

  5. Mix sauce ingredients (tomato sauce, seasonings).

  6. Spread sauce across dough.

  7. Sprinkle most (about 7/8) of the mozzarella cheese for a base cheese.

  8. Add toppings to taste.

  9. Sprinkle cheddar cheese across the topped pizza. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese across the pizza.

  10. Cook at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
