1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
1/4 teaspoon of dry dill

Recipe Directions for Homemade Buttermilk Ranch

  1. Blend mayo and buttermilk well.

  2. Season to taste with remaining ingredients.

  3. Add garlic powder or fresh minced garlic to taste if you like it; it won't add a significant number of calories. You may also substitute 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill for the dry dill.
