My Homemade Breadsticks, they were great.

Recipe Ingredients for Homemade Bretzelsticks (Breadsticks)

1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Orange Juice
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 1/2 cup Bread Flour
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 teaspoon Oregano, crushed
1/4 teaspoon Rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Basil
1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 teaspoon Yeast

Recipe Directions for Homemade Bretzelsticks (Breadsticks)

  1. 1. Place the ingredients into a bread machine per the instructions.

  2. 2. When the dough is done remove, and roll into 12 sticks.

  3. 3. Place into slightly warm oven (around 75F), let rise.

  4. 4. Bake at 375F for 4 minutes until firm.

  5. 5. Remove from oven, and in a large pot fill half with water.

  6. 6. Add 1/4 cup baking soda to pot, get to boil.

  7. 7. Turn down heat and one by one put breadsticks into the water, for no longer than 60 seconds.

  8. 8. Once all breadsticks are complete place in oven 400F oven and bake until golden brown.
