Homemade bread. Very good, not too good for you! Eat in moderation.

Recipe Ingredients for homemade bread

2.5 cup White Flour, Unbleached
1 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1 individual packet Sugars, Granulated
4 serving Salt
1 oz Yeast
2 serving Unsalted Butter

Recipe Directions for homemade bread

  1. mix dry ingredients well. heat milk and butter then add to dry and mix well. knead for about 10 minutes let rest for 1/2 hour. Form into bread shape, put in loaf pan and cover. Let rise for about 1/2 hour or so, till doubled. Bake at 350 for 20 - 30 minutes. When done it will sould 'hollow' when you tap it.

  2. Makes one 12 slice loaf, or one dozen buns.
